Class of 1971

Old Boy Neal Walker (1971) recently visited the Archive space to explore his family’s history at Churchie, delving into records relating to his brothers and son. During his visit, Neal enriched his personal collection by consulting archival editions of The Viking and Eagles’ Wings, along with other materials held in our dedicated research workspace. His visit reflects the many ways Old Boys continue to reconnect with their time at Churchie and uncover stories across generations.

To support your own research, the Archives houses an extensive collection that includes photographs, programmes, publications, reports, garments and a diverse range of memorabilia. Whether tracing family connections, revisiting significant milestones or simply exploring Churchie’s history, the collection offers a valuable and accessible resource. Copying and scanning facilities are available to help you collate, record and share your findings.

The Churchie Archive is located on the lower ground floor of The Centenary Library. If you would like to undertake on-site research, The Archive is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As occasional changes to these days may occur, please schedule your visit by contacting us on 07 3896 2198 or churchie.archives@churchie.com.au.
