The Diploma of Business Graduation Ceremony was held in the Centenary Library Lecture Theatre on Friday 7 November, celebrating the achievements of the Year 12 students and provided a valuable opportunity for the OBA to connect with the newest members of our community.

Guest speakers Frankie Goldsbrough (2023) and Oscar di Vincenzo (2021) were invited back to share their experiences since completing the Diploma themselves. Both spoke openly about life after school and the unexpected ways the qualification helped shape their early pathways.

Frankie has recently signed with the Queensland Reds while also building a business with his brother. He reflected on how the Diploma strengthened his approach to leadership, teamwork and managing the demands of professional sport. Oscar, now nearing the end of his Bachelor of Business at QUT, spoke about the practical head start the Diploma gave him at university and the confidence it offered when stepping into tertiary study.

For the OBA, seeing young Old Boys return not only to speak but to support the next cohort is what our community is built on. Their willingness to share their stories shows the strength of the Old Boy network and the ongoing connection many feel with the School.

The Churchie OBA congratulates all new graduates and thanks Frankie and Oscar for giving their time.
