Old Boys Tony Sarai (1995) and his brother Jita Sarai (1999) are proudly continuing the legacy of their family business, Modoras. Founded in 1984 by their father, Peter Sarai, Modoras began as a financial planning firm built on the belief that everyone can achieve more. Today, it is a market leader delivering integrated financial solutions across Accounting, Wealth Management, Business Advisory, Audit and Assurance, and Superannuation Services.
Driven by his commitment to financial education, Josh Di Bella, Deputy Head of Senior School (Years 10–12), is developing a long-term financial literacy unit as part of the Year 12 Wellbeing Curriculum. To enrich the program with real-world insights, he invited Tony to present to the cohort.
Recently recognised among the top 1% of Financial Advisers in Australia through his inclusion in The Australian and Barron’s Top 150 Financial Advisers for 2024, Tony brought a wealth of expertise and experience to the session. Tony’s core message, “what you do with your money now will affect your future” resonated deeply with students. He offered valuable insights on topics such as distinguishing needs from wants, understanding interest rates, managing credit cards, budgeting, investing, and saving. The session sparked engaging conversations and thoughtful questions, highlighting its value for students as they prepare for life beyond school.
