Old Boy James Tait (2018) showed many talents both on and off the court whilst at Churchie, particularly as Captain of the First V Basketball team. However, it was his surprise love of playing the character of Captain Hook in the school play that has steered his direction and determination. "Being on that stage in Morris Hall, cemented my love of theatre. That performance gave me the confidence to successfully audition at the Queensland Conservatorium to study acting.” James explains further: “It was the advice, guidance and confidence from my teachers at Churchie that got me over the line.”

Even though they are still undertaking their degrees, James and his fellow young actors have shown tremendous talent and entrepreneurship in producing and writing their own script. These brave and intrepid actors love performing live so much that they are willing to put forth their own money, time and belief in their artistic integrity to write and produce a show- all to bring the live experience back. They have already received praise for the script from the New York theatre industry. TO WHO? is now ready for audiences, with Brisbane having the first opportunity to enjoy.
